In late 2018 I took part in a pounamu course where we shaped our own toki and braided the waxed string so it will be able to be worn. We learned about the importance of pounamu, the different types of stones and the history of carving.

Polaroid - 2017
Polaroid is a small series which i worked on whilst studying at Otago Polytechnic.
It was an idea around interviewing 6 friends about themselves and who they are, photographing them in the moment, turning the photos into illustrations.

In 2016 whilst still being a student at Blue Mountain College I was completing my NCEA Level 3 artboard, my theme was on the journey of a man going to war, his view of home and conflicting thoughts of why he's fighting for king and country.
DIY Chandelier - 2016
For a graphics design project at Blue Mountain College I built a chandelier out of recycled materials and LED lights, it was a part of the Otago Polytechnic School of Design competition where secondary school students put in designs of different media. The Chandelier was awarded Highly Commended out of 5 designs.
